Classic Crazy Bones is a small WordPress site that publishes articles about collectibles, design, and related topics. This page explains what information reaches our site, what we do with it, and the choices available to you.
What reaches our site
We keep data to the minimum needed to run a simple blog. We do not run an online store, we do not send a newsletter, and we do not serve ads or affiliate trackers. There are no embedded contact forms on the site. The main ways information may reach us are:
- Comments you choose to post: If a post has comments open, WordPress asks for your name, email address, website (optional), your IP address, user agent, the time of your comment, and the text you submit. If you are logged in to WordPress when commenting, your account ID is associated with the comment.
- Email you send us: If you write to one of our published email addresses, we receive the contents of your message and the headers your email service includes (such as sender, recipient, time, and routing information).
- Server and CDN logs: Our hosting and caching/CDN layers automatically record requests to the site, which typically include your IP address, the pages requested, timestamp, referrer (if provided by your browser), and user agent. This is standard for operating any website.
- Site administration: WordPress sets a session cookie for logged-in administrators and records limited activity necessary to manage the site. Public registration is closed, so visitors do not create accounts here.

We use only the cookies needed to operate WordPress features in use on this site.
- Comment convenience cookies: If you leave a comment, WordPress can save your name, email, and website in cookies so you do not have to retype them next time. These typically last up to one year on your device and are optional.

Access to personal data is limited to the site’s administrators. Our hosting provider and caching/CDN providers process server and delivery logs as part of providing their services. Email you send to us is processed by our email provider(s). We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Retention
• Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely once published, so we can display conversations and recognize and moderate follow-ups. If a comment is removed, residual copies may persist in system backups for a time before they expire.
• Server and CDN logs are kept by those systems for a limited period necessary for security, troubleshooting, and capacity planning, then are rotated or deleted.
• Emails you send us are retained as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a record of our correspondence, then archived or deleted in line with routine business practice.
Your choices and rights
You can choose whether to leave a comment and whether to allow comment convenience cookies in your browser. You can also contact us to exercise your rights over your personal data, which may include:
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: request that we fix inaccurate information.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data where we have no continuing reason to keep it.
- Restriction or objection: ask us to limit or stop certain processing.
- Portability: request a copy of data you provided to us in a usable format, where applicable.
